In a larger bowl put the meat, egg, carrot cleaned and grated, chopped parsley, cleaned and crushed garlic, 2-3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, bread soaked in water and squeezed well, spices, pepper and salt to taste. Mix well.

Grease a pan with oil and lined with breadcrumbs. We wet our hands and start making the meatballs.

Put in the preheated oven, turn them once.

Fasting meatballs in the oven

Delicious and nutritious, fasting meatballs are a delight all year round, and they are also ideal for packaged snacks.

To prepare this recipe, you need the following ingredients:

  • 3 young pumpkins put on a large grater and drained
  • 2 boiled potatoes crushed with a fork
  • 2 carrots put on a small grater
  • half a cup of brown rice
  • a large onion, finely chopped
  • a bunch of finely chopped green parsley
  • 3 tablespoons breadcrumbs
  • 3 cloves of garlic given through the press
  • salt and pepper.

In a hot pan put 4-5 tablespoons of cold-pressed rapeseed oil, carrot and a quarter cup of water. Turn the heat to medium and cover the pot with a lid. After 2-3 minutes, add the onion, stir and leave on the fire, stirring occasionally, until the water drops completely and the vegetables are soft. Turn off the heat and leave to cool.

Separately, bring some water to a boil, and when it starts to boil, add the rice. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes, then drain it and leave it to cool.

Mix the zucchini, hardened vegetables, rice, potatoes, garlic, breadcrumbs and parsley in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper and mix.

Take a spoonful of this composition and shape the meatballs - which you place in a tray lined with baking paper. Brush the meatballs with rapeseed oil with a brush. If you have a container with a spray pump, it's even better.

Place the pan in the preheated oven at 180-190ºC for half an hour or until the meatballs are slightly browned on top.

The best fasting meatballs

This recipe starts with baked black beans (boiled three times) to dry, this is important because it helps prevent meatballs from becoming bushy.

The beans are then mixed with herbs, spices, garlic, sauteed onion for flavor and tomato paste.

Mix well and then you can shape the meatballs. Keep the composition in the fridge until it cools down a bit and then cook (and eat :)!).

To cook meatballs, you can use a combination stove-oven. First leave them a little in the pan you used to cook the onion and garlic until they catch a light crust. Later, the oven will dry them a little, but you will be sure that they are cooked in the middle.

Potato meatballs with garlic, baked & # 8211 since I have this recipe, this is how I cook potatoes

Today I recommend you try a delicious recipe from potatoes and garlic. Ever since I discovered it, that's the only way I cook potatoes. Garlic potato meatballs taste amazingly good.

Necessary ingredients:

  • 6-7 boiled potatoes, 150 g mushrooms
  • 1 onion, 1 carrot, 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • Dill (to taste), 100 g breadcrumbs
  • Ground salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Sunflower oil

Method of preparation:

Peel an onion and finely chop it. Pour a little sunflower oil into a pan. When it heats up, add the onion and sauté it lightly.

Peel a squash, grate it and squeeze the juice. We wash the mushrooms and chop them finely. Add to the pan with the onion, carrot and mushrooms. We fry the vegetables.

Peel the potatoes and grate them. Put them in a bowl and then add the fried vegetables. Season with salt and ground black pepper. Add finely chopped garlic and dill.

Also, add breadcrumbs and mix. We should get a uniform mixture that we can easily shape.

From the resulting mixture we make the buns on which we place on a tray lined with baking paper or greased with oil and sprinkled with wheat flour.

Put the tray in the preheated oven at 190 degrees for about 20 minutes. The baking time can vary from one oven to another, so it would be good to check the potato meatballs from time to time.

5 minutes before the end, grease the meatballs with sunflower oil. Let them bake until golden. Have fun with your loved ones and increase your cooking!

Baked vegetable meatballs

I know, sometimes you feel the need for a lighter meal, without meat, but full and nutritious! That's why today I offer you some wonderful meatballs from potatoes, zucchini, leeks and other inviting flavors!

Preparation time: 49 minutes


3 large boiled and peeled potatoes

2 teaspoons olive oil

2 teaspoons tahini (sesame paste)

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Method of preparation:

1. Boil the potatoes, peel them and then grind them and leave them to cool.

2. Gently heat the olive oil in a pan, add the leeks and carrots and cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the zucchini and leave everything on the fire for 3 minutes. Add the tahini, cumin and lemon peel and mix on the fire for 1 minute, then transfer the contents of the pan and flour over the mashed potatoes.

3. Mix lightly and add salt and pepper to taste. After the mixture has cooled, shape the meatballs, pass them through breadcrumbs and place them on a baking sheet.

4. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C and put the meatballs in the oven for 30 minutes.

Serve at room temperature with hummus.

1. In a pot of boiling salted water, boil the peeled potatoes, of course, well washed. Boil and clean while warm.

2. Then pass it as a puree, but not so fine, and add finely chopped onion, whole egg and egg yolk, grated cheese, salt and pepper. Mix well.

3. With a lightly moistened hand, form the potato meatballs, which flatten, and if the dough is too soft, you can add a little flour. As it forms, the meatballs are passed through the flour and placed next to each other. Let sit for 30 minutes.

4. Heat the oil in which the potato meatballs are fried in a pan. Serve sprinkled with finely chopped dill.

The first step will be the preparation of the fish, which, as I already mentioned in the list of ingredients, in my case was trout, but you can also use other species of freshwater or ocean fish, I really think like the first round when I resume this delicious recipe to try a mackerel prepared in the same way.

1. So, we take the fish, we gut it, we clean it inside of the entrails, we clean it of scales (it was not the case for me). Normally, I would have left my head attached, but I found that it didn't fit in the baking dish, so I cut off the ends as well.
2. Wash the fish under a stream of clean water and dry with an absorbent paper towel.

3. Sprinkle the fish both inside and out with a little salt and pepper, cover with cling film and set aside for a quarter of an hour, during which time we turn on the oven, setting it at 180 ° C.

1. Buffer the fish with absorbent kitchen paper to get rid of excess water and place in a heat-resistant dish. Pour the tomato sauce over them.

2. Put the bowl with the fish and the tomato sauce with garlic in the oven and bake for about 25-30 minutes at 180 ° C. From time to time, grease the fish with the sauce from the pan with a spoon, but do not try to turn them over because they may break.

3. Remove the fish bowl with the tomato and garlic sauce from the oven when it acquires a light brown crust, allow it to cool slightly and serve with one of the above-mentioned garnishes or with one of your choice.

Here is the end result, it may not be the most photogenic preparation in the world, but it is certainly a very delicious one.

I gathered over time several secrets from relatives, friends, co-workers, through books and magazines, I put the information together and tried it until I came up with an absolutely perfect meatball recipe.

The meat is washed, the skins, tendons, blood clots are chosen and wiped, then chopped.

Pass it twice through the mincer, in this way a fine paste will be obtained.

Onions, garlic and greens are also passed through the mincer.

Grate the zucchini, sprinkle with salt and knead, then set aside for about 15 minutes.

Squeeze water and add over meat. Add the egg (1 single egg, because otherwise the composition is strengthened) and spices.

If you don't realize how many spices to put, make a meatball and fry it, to see the exact taste.

Mix the meat composition well, about 10 minutes and toss the lighenas a few more times. In this way it absorbs air and the meatballs will be soft and fluffy.
